Travelling by camper is by far the best way to see Australia. This huge island-continent is a true heaven on earth for people who enjoy the outdoors. The continent boasts thousands of campsites. These campsites are based in towns, near beaches, in and near rainforest and off the beaten track. There are many commercial campsites and caravan parks with well maintained amenities, camp kitchens and swimming pools. Many travellers stick to the beaten path and travel along the east coast. The average traveller visits Australia for a period of 3 to 4 weeks and wishes to see as much as possible in that time, preferably on the east coast. Making a good travel plan for such a short period is not easy. In reality many of these ill-planned holidays turn out to be a disappointment, as many people find it impossible to see all that they planned on seeing due to a tight travel schedule, and also because of misjudgement of the distances involved.

It is usually better to visit a smaller area in a shorter time frame, and thus enjoy a far more relaxing holiday!

Our camper tours are based on this theory.

You rarely travel extremely long distances, and there are a few days built into each tour for exploring the area around our base or, if you wish, you can simply relax at the campsite. Apart from visiting the well known tourist highlights you also visit many well hidden natural wonders and National Parks. You spend the nights on pre-booked (mainly powered) campsites and caravan parks. Almost all campsites are wonderfully located in beautiful and impressive natural settings. There is an abundance of native animals such as kangaroos, possums and colourful birds on many of the sites. You also have the chance to see koala’s near a couple of places where we stay.

Our tours have a truly international character and are well-suited for anyone who enjoys camping with a certain degree of luxury and who wants to experience the country in its purest form whilst enjoying the company of other like-minded people.
You do not travel in convoy and you can keep your own pace, in such a way that you have time to plan the days as you wish. A number of excursions are included in each tour. For the duration of the tours you travel in a campervan belonging to a large and reputable Australian rental company. In most cases it is possible to extend your holiday and the campervan rental before or after the tours.

For our tours, we have chosen for the versatile Hitop campervans. The main reason for this choice is, apart from the versatility, the size and limited weight, which makes them much easier to handle than the large 4 berth motorhomes. This ensures a stress-free holiday! The tours are very reasonably priced and would not cost you any more than a regular, self-organised campervan holiday but it does have many extra benefits.
