2/3 Berth PS budget Hitop deluxe - New Zealand

It’s amazing that so many extras can fit into one vehicle! With the 2/3 berth budget Hitop PS deluxe travelling New Zealand couldn’t offer more comfort or freedom, including a shower and toilet. These vehicles are very similar to the 2/3 berth TS deluxe hitops from the TU category, they were only built a few years earlier and can therefore be offered at a lower price to accommodate the budget minded traveller. Generously designed for 2-3 passengers (or 2 plus a child), this spacious vehicle features pressurized hot and cold water with shower and toilet. Cooking is made easy with a gas stove, microwave and fridge. Crockery, cutlery, linen, towels and more are all cleverly packed away on board. At the end a day the dining area converts into a comfortable double bed, your clothes can hang in the wardrobe and you’ll wake up in refreshed for a new adventure. The radio/cassette makes for enjoyable driving and when you’re ready for a break, just pull over in one of New Zealand’s scenic spots and enjoy some more of a magical adventure holiday.

LIVING

Sleeping configuration: One double bed (1.95m x 1.25m). One single bed (1.8m x 0.65m).
Gas Cooker: 2 ring cooker with griller ignited by match.
Gas Bottle: A 5kg bottle. The gas bottle is located in the external storage locker on the driver's side of the vehicle.
Microwave: The microwave operates from 240V only so the vehicle must be plugged into mains power to operate.
Fresh Water Tank: Capacity is 70 litre/15 gallon. The filler cap is located on the passenger side of the vehicle marked 'WATER' and the filler hose is in the wardrobe.
Grey Water tank: Holding tank for grey waste water generated from the shower and kitchen sink. Disposable at all camp grounds and dump sites. Holds 70 litres/15 gallons grey water, and should be empty on drop-off. Grey water hose is in the driver's side exterior compartment.
Lighting: Interior lights operate off 12V batteries and 240V.
Hot water: Engine heated (Pressurised) Electic, Water Pump/Hot and Cold Water (80 litres)
Fridge Freezer: The fridge operates on 12V battery whilst driving and on 240V mains when plugged in at a camp ground. The fridge will automatically switch over between the two supplies. Fridge capacity 55 litre. There are two 12V batteries, one for starting the engine and the other for domestic 12V system. This system includes water pump and fridge. Batteries are recharged by engine alternator and 240V mains.
Power Supply: 240V mains and 12V battery. The 240V mains power operates when the exterior power cable is plugged in at a camp ground. Bathroom Facilities:
Hot and cold pressurised water in shower cubicle.
Toilet:
Located in cubicle with shower. Flush toilet waste goes into cassette holding tank that is accessed from exterior compartment door. Toilet is full of chemicals on pick-up of vehicle, with a small complimentary supply. Toilet cassette holding tank must be flushed out and empty on drop-off.
Water heater:
Water heater works on gas and is operated by a switch. Water will be heated after approximately 15 minutes.
Storage:
Ample cupboard space, storage under seats at rear of vehicle.
Fly Screens: Placed on upper cabin windows in living area.
Flooring: Easy to care for linoleum.
Exterior Access: Side door, with rear doorstep.

Tyres: Tyre pressure should be checked regularly. The recommended pressure is 55psi.
Spare Tyre: The spare tyre is located under rear of the vehicle.
Tools: The tool kit is located behind the drivers seat.
